I am required to purchase a casket from a funeral home, right?

The short answer is ‘absolutely not’ and here is why...

In 1994, the Federal Trade Commission ruled that individuals have the right to purchase caskets from any source they choose.

The law states that funeral homes...

  • Must use the casket you have purchased — even if it’s from an outside source
  • Must accept delivery of your casket and cannot require you to be present for delivery of the casket
  • Must not cause you and your family undue duress or embarrassment

Funeral homes cannot condition the purchase of a casket with the purchase of funeral services — that’s the law!

Are your caskets certified for burial in all states?

You may be surprised to learn that there’s no such thing as a certified casket or coffin.

What are the dimensions of your caskets and how much do they weigh?

The size and weight of our caskets are based upon industry standards:

  • Outside Dimensions: 83″×28″× 23″ (210.82 cm.×71.12 cm.×58.42 cm.)
  • Weight: ≅176 lbs.

Are your caskets equipped with adjustable beds or are they stationary?

All of our caskets have adjustable beds. They’re vertically-adjustable at both the head and foot ends.

How are your caskets packed for shipping? *****************

Take a look at the last picture, this is my warehouse and an example of how these caskets are packed, what you do not see however is the plastic then foam around the caskets, these are packed very well, and can be stacked 4 high.

Can I make payments or have your company finance my casket?

Unfortunately, we’re unable to setup payment plans or offer financing for our products at this time.

Can I purchase a casket and have you store it for me?

Due to the limited space in our warehouse, we’re unable to store caskets that have been purchased.

Funeral homes generally store their caskets in an upright position (standing on their end) and you may do so as well.
